A novel objective evaluation method for trunk function

چکیده
[Purpose] To investigate whether an objective evaluation method for trunk function, namely the "trunk righting test", is reproducible and reliable by testing on different observers (from experienced to beginners) and by confirming the test-retest reliability. [Subjects] Five healthy subjects were evaluated in this correlation study. [Methods] A handheld dynamometer was used in the assessments. The motor task was a trunk righting motion by moving the part with the sensor pad 10 cm outward from the original position. During measurement, the posture was held at maximum effort for 5 s. Measurement was repeated three times. Interexaminer reproducibility was examined in two physical therapists with 1 year experience and one physical therapist with 7 years of experience. The measured values were evaluated for reliability by using intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC 1.1) and interclass correlation coefficients (ICC 2.1). [Results] The test-retest reliability ICC 1.1 and ICC 2.1 were all high. The ICC 1.1 was >0.90. The ICC 2.1 was 0.93. [Conclusion] We developed the trunk righting test as a novel objective evaluation method for trunk function. As the study included inexperienced therapists, the results suggest that the trunk righting test could be used in the clinic, independent of the experience of the therapists.

Reliable location routing problem considers a location problem and a vehicle routing problem in order to select the optimal location of facilities and at the same time the optimal routes for vehicles considering the unexpected failure for facilities in which, all facilities may fail with a probability. In this paper, a bi-objective mathematical model has been developed to minimize the total cos...
متن کاملA Novel Objective Function for Directional Overcurrent Relays Coordination
Directional overcurrent relays (DOCRs) are widely used to protect power systems. For optimal coordination of DOCRs, several techniques have been proposed to solve this problem. A common way of optimal coordination of DOCRs is using evolutionary algorithms such as genetic algorithm (GA). In this paper, a novel strategy for DOCRs coordination is proposed. In the proposed strategy, a new objective...

متن کاملA Novel Adapted Multi-objective Meta-heuristic Algorithm for a Flexible Bi-objective Scheduling Problem Based on Physics Theory
We relax some assumptions of the traditional scheduling problem and suggest an adapted meta-heuristic algorithm to optimize efficient utilization of resources and quick response to demands simultaneously. We intend to bridge the existing gap between theory and real industrial scheduling assumptions (e.g., hot metal rolling industry, chemical and pharmaceutical industries). We adapt and evalua...
متن کاملA new framework for high-technology project evaluation and project portfolio selection based on Pythagorean fuzzy WASPAS, MOORA and mathematical modeling
High-technology projects are known as tools that help achieving productive forces through scientific and technological knowledge. These knowledge-based projects are associated with high levels of risks and returns. The process of high-technology project and project portfolio selection has technical complexities and uncertainties. This paper presents a novel two-parted method of high-technology ...
